The Palermitaner is a weekly fictitious magazine that collects visual concepts about the city of Palermo.
It is a collective art project bringing together artists from all over the world who have been inspired by the city of Palermo.
"Through the covers of a magazine that does not exist, we want to propose a new vision of the Sicilian city and celebrate the controversial beauty of Palermo and the stories of those who live in."

The Palermitaner è un progetto settimanale che attraverso le copertine di una rivista immaginaria ci porta alla scoperta di cibi, luoghi, usi e costumi di Palermo.
È un progetto artistico collettivo che unisce artisti di tutto il mondo, ispirati proprio dal capoluogo siciliano.
The Addaura Cave, located on Monte Pellegrino – Palermo, Sicily, is known for its exquisite engravings dating between the end of the Epigravettian and the Mesolithic periods. The frieze shows a group of men arranged in a circle around two very controversial figures which have generated much scholarly debate. So far, the purely choreographic and musical aspect has been little investigated. From the examination of the position of legs and arms and the presence of particular ornaments it is possible to deduce that these figures are engaged in a dance whose purpose is most probably linked to the ceremonial sphere. The purpose of the present contribution is to return to the concreteness of gesture related to dance, describing the modalities and the possible rhythmic implications.

Le grotte dell'Addaura.
Sul fianco del monte Pellegrino, che domina Palermo, non lontano dalla spiaggia di Mondello, si aprono alcune grotte e cavità nelle quali sono state ritrovate ossa e strumenti utilizzati per la caccia che attestano la presenza dell'uomo a partire dal Paleolitico e nel Mesolitico. La loro importanza tuttavia è dovuta soprattutto alla presenza di incisioni rupestri che ornano le pareti e che costituiscono un caso unico nel panorama dell'arte rupestre preistorica.
